The BBC did a story on the 50th birthday of Vietnam’s defeat of the world’s most powerful nation but it was more like a loss by LBJ and the democrats! The fact is that had we elected General Barry Goldwater instead of LBJ, he would have won by dropping fewer bombs and killing way less people! Oh and don’t forget the Kennedy boys who green lighted the assassination of the South Vietnamese Leader in the first place.
Perhaps had Joe Biden voted to continue to fund the war, Vietnam would have ended up like Korea, half good Democratic and half bad Dictatorship. I knew a Vietnamese boat person of military age who said they didn’t care who won but were just happy it was over until Vietnam invaded Cambodia and then they got in the boats to get away from something that wasn’t going to end!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
