George Washington could have very easily become a career politician by becoming George the First. Instead he chose to put America first. Congressman Abraham Lincoln chose to oppose the Mexican American War and would fail to be renominated by his own party for re-election! He would go back to practicing the law!
Joe Biden and Jonh Kerry would make 2 career political decisions by voting against the first Iraq War that was won by America in 100 days but then voted for Iraq War #2 that was lost by America. This vote would cost Kerry the Presidency while repeatedly deferring Biden’s run for the office. Whether Republican or Democrat these so-called political professionals have done mostly great harm to America’s future!
