Not surprising because if Herr Hitler had succeeded in developing one first there would have been Nazi concentration camps located in New York City! Hitler failed in this endeavor but there has been considerable remorse for having used them against the Japanese instead!
Ironically it was another German born Jew, Kissinger who wrote a book warning about the use of AI in the hands of another dictator! In the last war it was the democracies that developed the bomb first! Who will be the first to fully exploit AI, the dictatorships or the democracies? The democracies are debating about where to put guardrails on it, while the dictatorships are rushing headlong, as demonstrated by DeepSeek.
