Gavin Newsom said transgender athletes playing in women’s sports is “an issue of fairness” in a break from most Democrats’ position on the topic.“Well, I think it’s an issue of fairness. Does the California Governor believe then that a transgender man playing in men sports is therefore deeply fair? When you consider that historically women have been the most discriminated class of people by men it is completely unfair to force them to physically compete against them in either sport! Not only deeply unfair but completely absurd! Why did it take Newsom years to figure that out?
