Some 16 years ago Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was rightly advocating for a pivot to China! The threat has only increased while the beginning of World War 3 has only decreased! The Europeans have had 80 years to get their act together for its own defense relying on both America for its protection and the Fall of the Soviet Union!
The new German government has announced the end of NATO in response to Trumps moves against Ukraine. Whether you like it or not the fact is that Europe is not offering an article 5 to America if we are attacked by China! Clearly America no longer has the resources to defend both Europe AND Asia and it is well past the time that the Europeans step up for their own defense!
