BEIJING, Jan 27 (Reuters) – Chinese startup DeepSeek’s AI Assistant on Monday overtook rival ChatGPT to become the top-rated free application available on Apple’s App Store in the United States. Powered by the DeepSeek-V3 model, which its creators say “tops the leader board among open-source models and rivals the most advanced closed-source models globally”, the artificial intelligence application has surged in popularity among U.S. users since it was released on Jan. 10, according to app data research firm Sensor.K
First it was the dominance of TIKTOK in America and if we lose the lead in AI say goodbye to the American Empire and say hello to the new Chinese Empire. China is focused on getting the best result for China while America is divided between getting the best result for either the democrats or the republicans! The Chinese are working real hard while Americans are working real hard to get more free time off with pay of course!
