The democrats believe that billionaires should be paying their fair share! They tried that in Connecticut and the end result was that they all moved to Florida. The CT Democrats did not reduce their spending as a result of the loss in this tax revenue base they just shifted the tax burden on to other tax paying CT folks.
As Scott Bessent (Trump’s pick for Treasury) pointed out to the almost indigenous lady whose maiden name is Herring you can leave the tax bracket alone and collect more total dollars or do what the former Betty Herring wants to do and collect less total tax dollars! Billionaires can live almost anywhere including not in America!
