I had a couple of recent issues with my black son-in-law when I referred to sprinkles as Jimmy’s and a tank top as a guinea tee! His response was that Free Speech was making a comeback and I understood why he said it BUT way better if he had said hate speech was making a comeback instead! The challenge is that some folks want to legally punish a person for using it!
Had he said that Hate Speech was making a comeback I wouldn’t have had a problem with that but some on the Left wish to criminalize this type of speech which represses Free Speech in turn! For example if I say that women can’t have a penis some would say that is hate speech while some might even think that I should be arrested for saying as much!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
