In the 1980’s I was an optimist because Ronnie Reagan was in the White House successfully taking on the Evil Empire! Once he succeeded the world thought they no longer needed the American Empire and the South American Hispanic Pope financed an invasion of illegals to help defeat the only remaining Empire!
During this century I became increasingly pessimistic given the rise of the Chinese dictatorial Empire and the financial decline of the American Empire! Biden and the Left in the West told us we could have Peace thru trade with dictators but are now rattling sabers to cover for their screw up! Idiot Joe even voted against Reagan’s Star Wars only to watch China develop their own from the oval office!
