Mr. Bezos, the newspaper’s owner, writes that presidential endorsements “create a perception of bias” and that “my views here are, in fact, principled.” NY Times. The last Republican President that the New York Times endorsed was in 1956.
Many big city newspapers like the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times and Chicago’s Sun Times are seen as nothing more than mouthpieces for the democrat party! No surprise then that there is more than just a “perceived” Leftist bias. Print isn’t quite yet dead but their influence to effect elections is no longer as dominant as it once was!
