In response to World War 2 the US Government mandated that the emerging demand for television necessitated regulation as a result of the success of Fascist propaganda but also the result of the BBC keeping Winston Churchill off of its Radio stations! After the war a Yale professor proved that 80% of humans are just sheep and cattle!
With the emergence of first cable TV and now Social media all regulated bets are now off although the 3 networks did lean Left and the government financed PBS is now openly socialist! Examples of this today are Republican driven riots are now called Insurrection’s and transsexual’s are now called transgender! America is a free country and you can still call it as you see it but for how much longer?
