Because CT beaches are on Long Island Sound what is missing is any kind of wave action! That is why the beaches are uncrowded but be sure to stop at Lenny and Joe’s for the scallops! The Wall Street Journal is also pushing the hot butter lobster rolls in Connecticut but I would recommend the brown butter lobster rolls at Eventide in Portland ME.
