Lets say that before the pandemic you paid $100 for dinner and because of Biden’s inflation you are now paying $125. If you tip 15% then your server is now making $18.75 for a tip versus $15 before Biden took office! That is a 25% increase in tip income, which is well more than the average worker’s increase in pay! However in Massachusetts the democrats want voters to approve a pay raise from $6.75 plus tips to $15.00 plus tips. This would be a 65% increase in pay on top of the 25% increase in tip money assuming that people continue to tip their server 15% and continue to dine out as often! In the end what this will mean is fewer restaurants and restaurant workers in Massachusetts!
