Kissinger believes that allowing Arabs into Germany was a mistake but we assume that those Arabs believe that allowing Jews into Palestine was a mistake as well. One could argue that allowing Jews into America was a cultural and religious mistake. American Jews probably feel the same way about letting Arabs into America! Where does this all end?
Henry and my father were both German immigrants to America just before we entered WW 2. Had their parents stayed in Germany Kissinger would have ended up dead in a concentration camp while my father would have likely frozen to death in a snowbank outside of Stalingrad!
