The deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group. While mass killing is not necessary for genocide to have been committed, it has been present in almost all recognized genocides. Not sure that the Israeli/Hamas war falls into the recent genocide claims by some in Hollywood.
At the same time I don’t believe that some Jewish Hollywood people should be saying that these claims are antisemitic! The fact is that the current definition of antisemitism being used by the JDL is that if you make any Jewish person cry for any reason at all it is very likely these days that you are going to be accused of antisemitism which can be a real career killer in Hollywood!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
