“cause (someone) to adopt radical positions on political or social issues”

Some people who have been discriminated against over a long period of time can be radicalized as a result. For example the NY Times had a very large Obit on Linda Hirshman a radical feminist who was critical of educated women who left the workplace to raise their kids! My wife was an at home mother but my PhD daughter is not!

Hirshman like RBG and Nina Tottenberg was also Jewish and being a member of 2 discriminated classes can have a tendency for both social and political extremism. But not always as the co-founder of NOW Betty Friedan who was also Jewish thought that women should have the choice to work or opt-out!

And that is all I’m going to say about that!

Karl Marx was Jewish
