Lot’s of talk about the Conservatives promoting the censorship of books in schools! In my day you read Dick and Jane books in first grade not Jane with Dick and Dick with Vagina books! But who decides what books should be in Libraries? Well for starters is it an elementary or high school library or a town or city library?
Does the Librarian or School Board decide or do parents have any kind of input? All three of my kids no longer have regular TV in their homes and if this is the gender queer kind of stuff they will be seeing in their first grade libraries they won’t be using them either!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
