When Trump complained about this he was pilloried by the Left for being a lousy ally! While the minimum military budget for NATO is 2% of GDP the USA spends 3.5%. However America is facing a World War III and will need to up its military spending all the while moving military assets from NATO to Asia, effectively abandoning the Brits and the EU to defending themselves!
