Back in the day if someone had asked me if I had a preference for being white or black, I would have realized that you weren’t catching a cracker by the toe or buying cracker baby penny candy! The town I grew up in had only 2 black families and I had only 2 Asian classmates. But we did have a white exchange student from South Africa who was a raging racist!
My childhood was way better then my kids and grandkids, but none of us owned slaves. The US Congress is discussing slave reparations for people who were never slaves, whose parents were never slaves and whose grandparents weren’t slaves either. But many of the democrats and future democrats have their hands out for free stuff, be it for slave reparations, college tuition or affordable housing!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
