According to a recent global survey of Universities 60% of UK colleges and 80% of US colleges have witnessed a decline in their rankings! No real surprise as the student lunatics in the UK and USA have been running their university asylums with many now getting straight A’s. The ex-Harvard President Larry Summers attempted to push back on this with no effect!
Recently a naive but proud Father announced that his daughter graduated cum laude which is no longer a big deal because 80% graduate with a cum, magna or summa cum laude distinction! Back in the day it would have been 20% graduating with this distinction! In America we are confusing effort with results!
