Every year cops kill over 1000 people. The majority of these are white folks but a disproportionate percentage are black. In Akron Ohio recently 8 cops are alleged to have fired 90 bullets hitting a black man some 60 times. They handcuffed him while he was lying on the ground! Turned out that was overkill also as he was already DOA.
In 2020 Cops killed by guns were up 36% for a total of 48 or 1 every week. Not sure how many times the BLM folks need to be reminded that resisting arrest can lead to a one way ticket to the morgue, but here we go again. I do agree with the Akron mayor that the fox should not be guarding the chicken coop and all of these incidents need to be investigated by someone other than local cops!
