California held a big celebration when it powered 97% of its electric grid for a brief period of time with renewable sources! Nowhere in the pro-climate change media did they define what “brief” was. Was it a minute or five minutes? There are 1440 minutes in every day and 525,600 minutes in every year. In the end providing power 24/7/365 is what our kids are going to demand in order to run their game boys.
It just so happens that it was a very sunny and windy day when California established this record use of renewable’s! But until the greenheads figure out the battery storage problem for wind and solar they have accomplished little. Why does nuclear power in California only supply 4% of energy needs when carbon emitting natural gas accounts for 25%? But hey on the upside the last one leaving California won’t have to turn the lights out!
