No question that the Electoral College is not perfect but why is Ranked Voting more perfect? France is now being held up as the latest European example of how we should be voting in the USA! Just a couple of months ago these very same folks were holding up Angela Merkel as the kind of leader we need in America. What’s next from the left?
In France they have 8 people running for President and the top 2 vote getters go on to a runoff election! Now lets say that the 2 top vote getters each get 13% of the vote why is that a better outcome? PBS and the left will tell you its a “fairer” process but does it produce better outcomes? If so then where is France doing better than the USA?
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
