A recent book on Anne Frank claims that it was a Jewish guy that turned Frank into the Gestapo in exchange for saving his own family. The author hired an ex-FBI guy and historians to do research on this and believe that they are 85% correct! After some 70+ years it is not likely that anyone will get it 100% right at this late date!
The Jewish community is very upset with the book either because the book got it completely incorrect or perhaps because it undercuts the the significance of Anne Franks story who is the face of the Holocaust! What is not in dispute is that someone did in fact turn the Frank family into the Nazi’s. It could have been a Jew or a Genteel will likely never really know!
