NYTIMES HEADLINE: “A man hit a woman in the head 125 times because she was of Asian descent, New York officials said” The man was charged with a hate crime but no where in the headline do they tell you that it was a big ass black guy! The lady was 67 years old, would they have charged the perp with a hate crime if he had beaten the crap out of a 67 year old white lady?
If on the other hand this guy had beaten up a 67 year old black woman would he have been charged with a hate crime for doing the very same thing? Why would that be? Just because he hates old ladies regardless of their color! I still don’t get the whole hate crime thing can you really beat the crap out of old lady and defend yourself by calling it a crime of passion?
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
