The term egalitarianism has two distinct definitions in modern English either as a political doctrine that all people should be treated as equals and have the same political, economic, social and civil rights, or as a social philosophy advocating the removal of economic inequalities among people, economic egalitarianism, or the decentralization of power. The former is Socialism the later is Marxism!
In the 1950’s we drove the Marxists underground in America. Some of their kids are working hard writing books and making movies in an effort to vindicate their black listed parents who looked the other way on Stalin’s excesses! While being a progressive is code for being a socialist, no one not even Bernie Sanders is ready to admit that they are in fact Marxist!
