McMichael is not a very common Irish name and I should know as I have some of them in my family tree! I have no idea if I’m related in any way to the idiot Georgia McMichael’s but lets keep a happy thought and think not! I do know on my German side that I had relatives who thought that Hitler was great back in the day so I suppose you can’t dodge every bullet family wise!
The McMichael’s are now facing a Federal trial for committing a hate crime and apparently the Feds do not have to prove that they hated Ahmaud Arbery. Frankly I always considered murder to be a hate crime so I’m a bit at a loss as to why we are convicting folks for the same crime a second time! Why then wasn’t OJ tried in Federal Court for a hate crime when he murdered two white people?
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
