“One lawyer with a briefcase can steal more than a hundred men with guns …”The Godfather. Today Don Vito Corleone would be talking about lobbyists most of whom are lawyers. Our so called leaders are in fact addicted to money in order to finance their re-elections while our former leaders become lobbyists in order to continue feeding their financial addiction. It seems that the more money we throw at Washington the lower the return the voters get from this investment.
Our financial strength has become our political weakness. I remember the anti-drug ad that showed 2 fried eggs with the narrator saying this is your brain on drugs. Before our addicted leaders fry what is left of America brains, America desperately needs to get it’s leaders into a rehab program to wean them off of their financial dependency.
And that is all I’m going to say about that.
