Egg or Chicken. One wonders if the original objective in splitting the atom had been to develop a carbon free energy source perhaps it may have been much better received by people. Unfortunately the original objective of splitting the atom was to kill people instead, which in turn would permanently taint nuclear energy for many.
As the world continues to shutter their nuclear power plants more people will die from climate change as a result. Even when you factor in all of the deaths from nuclear bombs and nuclear accidents climate change has still claimed many more lives. The anti nuke folks are playing a zero sum game holding nuclear energy hostage against nuclear weapons.
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
