These include the regulated folks like CBS, NBC and ABC that run tv programs at certain times of day that some would record on their VCR’s. Apparently over the last 3 years they have lost half their audience to the streaming folks like NetFlix and Hulu. The argument being that folks want to watch shows when it is convenient for them with no commercial interruptions.
When I wake up early in the morning and I channel surf on the TV, I run into infomercials promoting both dildos and erection medication. This combined with cable channels running movies that would run on regulated TV after 9PM have driven my grandkids parents to ban regular TV in their homes. As for myself every other ad is a plaintiff lawyer ad which would be great my me if I sold ambulances! Otherwise not so much…
