The other day a white chick was accused of blackfishing because she had a dark tan! Apparently it is not ok for white folks to get themselves a good tan but it is ok for a couple of black guys to play a couple of white chicks! Does racial appropriation cut only one way? What about gender appropriation is that ok also? Where was the warning on this movie that it may offend some real white chicks?
But hey, Dustin Hoffman as Tootsie, Robin Williams as Mrs. Doubtfire, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon as the Some like it hot babes, Travolta in Hairspray, Eddie Redmayne as the Danish girl, Natalie Wood as a Puerto Rican, John Wayne as Genghis Khan, Warner Oland as Charlie Chan, Eric Stonestreet as a gay guy and Neil Patrick Harris as a straight guy.
