I was convinced that the Demmy’s would nominate a lady this year but they were so worried that Bernie would get the nomination that they defaulted to Hiden Biden! I had hoped that Joe would pick Amy Klobuchar as his VP but George Floyd’s death in Amy’s home State all but killed that as a possibility! In fact Klobuchar was the very first democrat that I had ever donated money to her Presidential campaign.
Picking Kamala was not only a recognition of the South Carolina black vote that saved Biden’s campaign but a nod to the left that he was not going to make the same mistake as Hillary move to the center. Ironically I still did get to vote for a woman for US President although admittedly that was a St. Jude choice. You never know we could still see a Madame President this term as four years is a very long time both mentally and physically for a 78 year old!
And that is all I’m going to say about that!
