I remember taking the train to the outskirts of Paris in the early 2000’s. When I looked around the train car, I noticed that it was packed with Muslim looking men, so I told my family to ixnay on the englishay. The EU has taken in hundreds of thousands of Muslims over the last few years and as a result has a higher rate for terrorist incidences than in the USA.
While the French have had some experience with cutting people’s heads off, the last time that happened legally was in 1977. Ironically it was an Arab guy but today its Arab guys that are doing the head cutting! So on top of spending a fortune educating and taking care of these folks the French will now be spending more for policing them as well. With Covid shutting down France this is just another reason to stay inside! At some point the EU may have to draw another deeper line in the sand!
