Every August you can count on a discussion of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. How many American soldiers survived the war because Truman dropped the bomb(s)? Should “Give Him Hell” Harry not dropped them and just accepted a higher American body count instead? Which American family’s that had kids fighting in the Pacific would have supported that option?
Unfortunately the nuclear genie 🧞♀️ is out of the bottle and even if democracy comes to Iran they will still want their own nukes! The West can’t have it both ways and just look the other way when the Israeli’s developed their own nukes!
